Shipping
Paintings are packed the way the studio would want to receive them.
How work is packed
Original paintings are wrapped in glassine, corner-protected, and crated in a hand-built plywood case sized to the piece. Nothing is shipped rolled unless the work was made to be rolled.
Canvas editions ship stretched, in the same crating. Paper editions ship flat in a rigid board sandwich up to 60 cm, and in a heavy-gauge tube above that, interleaved with acid-free tissue.
Where the studio ships
Worldwide. Cyprus and the EU are served by road and air freight; everywhere else by tracked air courier.
Shipping is quoted at checkout once the destination is known, because a 200 × 150 cm crate to Sydney and a tube to Athens are not the same problem.
Timing
Originals leave the studio within five working days of payment clearing. Editions are produced to order and dispatch within ten working days.
Transit is typically two to four days inside the EU and five to ten days elsewhere. You receive a tracking number the moment the crate is collected.
Insurance
Every shipment is insured for its full purchase value, door to door, at no extra cost.
If a work arrives damaged, photograph the packaging before you unpack any further and email the studio the same day. Damage claims are handled by the studio, not by you.
Duties and taxes
Cyprus and EU deliveries include VAT where applicable. Deliveries outside the EU may attract import duty or local sales tax, which is the responsibility of the buyer and is estimated at checkout before payment.
The studio does not under-declare values on customs paperwork.
Collection in person
Collectors in Cyprus are welcome to collect from the Limassol studio by appointment, and to see the work on the wall before it is packed.
